Campus sits on the border of North Park and Albany Park—walkable to restaurants, shopping, parks, and schools, with easy access to buses, bikes, scooters, and the “L” to the Loop. Housing Cost and Deadlines 2025–26
Rental Cost
All rent amounts include utilities and heat.
- Studio apartment: $880–1,165 per month (currently unavailable)
- One-bedroom apartment: $975–1,590 per month
- Two-bedroom apartment: $1,255–1,590 per month (Two students can split a two-bedroom unit with one person per bedroom.)
- Two-bedroom BONUS apartment (with 2BD & a bonus room): $1,805
- Three-bedroom apartment: $1,315–2,015 per month
- House-share: $2,015 per month (four-person occupancy)
Priority Deadlines
- Fall term: June 1
- Spring term: November 1
- Summer term: March 1
Guidelines and Qualifications
Graduate student housing, including housing for North Park Theological Seminary students, is available in university-owned housing units and duplexes on a first-come, first-served basis. The university is committed to providing comfortable, convenient housing for students and their families. All housing is located on or within a short walk of campus.
Application and Assignment
Students may apply online after being accepted into a graduate program at North Park University or North Park Theological Seminary. A North Park student ID number is required. Incoming students may request specific units, and assignments are made based on application timing, unit size preference, and availability. Every effort will be made to accommodate requests.
Graduate student housing is managed by the Office of Residence Life and Housing under the Division of Student Engagement. It is primarily for degree-seeking graduate and select undergraduate students who do not qualify for traditional campus housing (e.g., married students, School of Professional Studies students, or those with children). Exceptions require approval from the director of residence life and housing.
Qualifications and Limits
To qualify, applicants must be:
- A full-time, degree-seeking graduate student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester or 12 credits per year.
- A full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate student approved by the director of residence life and housing.
Housing eligibility is limited based on the length of the student’s degree program.
- MDiv—5 years
- MACF—4 years
- MATS—4 years
- MACM—3 years
- DMin—3 years
- Diploma—2 years
- Dual degrees—add 1 year
- DEMSN—20 months
- MSAT—2 years
- Other graduate programs—2 to 3 years, depending on the program
