Julia Lambert Fogg
The Rev. Dr. Julia Lambert Fogg is the William and Darlene Carlson Endowed Chair for Youth and Family Ministry at California Lutheran University, where she teaches New Testament, first-century Christianity, and theologies from the margins. Her research explores neurocognition, emotional strategies in Paul’s letters, and cross-cultural biblical interpretation, with books entitled Creating Bodies: St. Paul’s Strategies for Saving Communities (Baylor, 2027) and Finding Jesus at the Border (Baker-Brazos, 2020), which bridges gospel narratives with the stories of immigrant youth. Dr. Fogg was a featured presenter at the 2025 North Park Theological Symposium on the Theological Interpretation of Scripture.
