The School for Restorative Arts
In cooperation with the Illinois Department of Corrections, this groundbreaking program brings together incarcerated and free students to learn side-by-side, building a diverse community united by a commitment to restorative ministry and transformative justice.

The C. John Weborg Center for Spiritual Direction
The ministry of spiritual direction centers the development of a life of discernment in the follower of Jesus. Directors are trained listeners, holding space in each session for directees ever-deepening awareness of the movements of the Spirit in daily life.
The C. John Weborg Center for Spiritual Direction has been training women and men for over twenty years, offering our popular Certificate of Spiritual Direction in a two year program.

Center for World Christian Studies
The Center for World Christian Studies equips church leaders and congregations for multidirectional ministry in a changing world.
Through immersive travel experiences, and flexible online courses our Intercultural Ministry Certificate develops practical skills and intercultural understanding. Gain the tools and global perspective needed to lead effectively—whether engaging diverse communities at home or partnering in mission abroad.

Our lectureships and symposium bring theological and biblical scholarship to important contemporary issues—for God’s glory and neighbor’s good.

Symposium on the Theological Interpretation of Scripture
The Symposium brings together select scholars across disciplines to discuss a subject relevant to the life of the church. Focused on the process of interpretation and the task of biblical theology, papers presented in the Symposium are published in the international journal ExAuditu.

Public Theology Lecture Series
Faculty and friends of North Park Theology Seminary engage the church and the world, drawing from the fields of ministry, Bible, theology, and church history. All lectures are free and open to the public.

The Carl G. Westerdahl Lectureship in Evangelism
The Carl G Westerdahl lectureship series—established in 1964—focuses on evangelism—the sharing of the Gospel in contemporary culture.

The David Nyvall Lectureship
The David Nyvall lectureship —in memory of our first teacher and president—seeks to stimulate interest in the interpretation of the Christian message for the contemporary world.

Nils W. Lund Memorial Lectureship
In Memory of Dr. Nils W Lund, dean and biblical scholar at North Park Theological Seminary from 1922-2954, the Lund Lectures host distinguished scholars with a focus on current developments in biblical studies and the task of preaching.

The A. Eldon Palmquist Lectureship in Preaching
The A. Eldon Palmquist Lectureship series focuses on preaching—the intersection of public pastoral ministry, society and culture.
