Certificate in Christian Studies at North Park Theological Seminary

This 8-credit hour (plus 1 field education credit) certificate is a basic orientation to Christian thought, spirituality, and practice at the master’s level.

This program is ideal for those who are not ready to commit to a degree program or are not yet confident on the demands of graduate-level education. Coursework may be later applied to a full degree program.

  • Choose one primary academic course in New Testament, Old Testament, Christian History, or Theology

What seminary degree should you choose?

MNST 6105 Academic Writing

This course will improve the student’s ability to write clearly and effectively in a variety of Seminary classroom and ministry venues. Course will focus on developing strategies for appropriate theses or topics, efficient research, organization/prewriting, composition, revising and editing. Critical thinking and logic, rhetorical principles, and practice in analyzing assignments will be included.
