Certificate in Intercultural Ministry

At the Center for World Christian Studies at North Park Theological Seminary

The Intercultural Ministry Certificate is a 12-credit program for leaders preparing to serve in diverse cultural settings, both locally and globally. Flexible learning options for online or cohort learning are anchored by a required immersive travel experience such as “Experiencing African Christianity” or “The Gospel in Asian Context.”

Perfect for lay leaders seeking firsthand insight into global ministry with theological depth, for seminary students investing further into their intercultural development for effective ministry, or for current congregations leaders seeking to equip their congregation to think, plan, and practice interculturally as part of its witness to the whole gospel “in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and the ends of the earth.”

The Columbia Experience

North Park Theological Seminary students and instructors experience the energy, music, spiritual environment, and new understandings of relationship in their encounter with the Church in Columbia.
