Who We Are

Our learning community, whether theologians or pastors, students or spiritual directors, finds common root in our heritage of being first “Mission Friends.” This Swedish-pietist term emphasizes the personal, relational, and spiritual aspects of following Jesus together.

It’s why many of our professors, even with advanced scholarship, don’t insist on their academic titles in their classrooms, but simply their first name. As new creatures in Christ, we learn and are formed walking side by side.
